Your Cruise Ship,
The Costa Concordia

The Costa Concordia entered service in 2006 and is the best ship in the Costa fleet for fitness and relaxation. Completely innovative, this floating resort becomes a destination in itself. Enjoy a fitness area on two decks, covering almost 20,450 square feet, with a swimming pool in its center. There are three more pools, two with retractable glass roofs. The decks are spacious and panoramic, and it is the largest and longest ship in the fleet. For entertainment choose from 13 bars including the Bar Sport. The decor is elegant and pays homage to Europe
and some of its most important cities including Paris, Rome and London.

PORTS OF CALL

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy: Amore comes alive in Italy's 'Eternal City,' home of more romance, art, history and architectural marvels than any one person can absorb.

Savona (Genoa), Italy: Dating back
to the Bronze Age, Savona's ancient structures stand side by side with modern buildings. See the fortress named Priamar built in 1542.

Barcelona, Spain: Spain's most
flamboyant and sophisticated city! Explore the Barrio Gotico (old quarter), a 14th-century maze of tiny houses, stately palaces and intriguing shops. Watch dancers sway to the Sardana in a lively Ramblas cafe. See Gaudi's architectural fantasies and the soaring spires of Sagrada Familia.

Palma De Mallorca, Spain: Since time immemorial, the famous and not-so-famous have found their private paradise in Mallorca. Palma's grand cathedral presides over a wide harbor packed with yachts and a beautiful old town filled with happy fun-seekers.

Tunis, Tunisia: Tunis' whitewashed, shuttered buildings hide a treasure trove of Ottoman art. Inspect manuscripts from the Koran, follow the twists and turns of the old inner city, and marvel at the ornate Palace of Dar Ben Abdallah and a mosque whose 184 columns were 'recycled' from the ruins of Carthage.

Valletta, Malta: Also known as
'The Fortress City,' the Knights of St. John headquartered here in 1530. Don't miss St. John's Cathedral and the Grand Master's Palace. In this city you'll enjoy excellent
shopping, avant-garde art, and more.

Palermo, Sicily: Sicily's capital is the most ancient island kingdom in Italy. Under its modern veneer, you'll find the old city teeming with life, lively cafes and shops selling pungent strings of garlic and cheeses, local women dressed in black, murmuring incantations in the enormous light pierced cathedral.

Shore excursions are available from Costa Cruises or their representatives.
