Dramatic, towering mountains and serene lakes are combined for a perfect blend in two of Europe's most picturesque areas. Switzerland's breathtaking and dramatic snow-capped mountain peaks blend into lush green meadows, and picturesque villages are reflected in the cool, clear waters of its glacial lakes.

LAKE COMO
Lake Como is the most breathtaking of all the Italian lakes, with steep hillsides dotted with orange terracotta roofs plunging down to the still blue waters. Encircled by the spectacular peaks of the Alps, the area abounds with historic villas, pretty lakeside villages, and stunning mountain scenery. The blend of serene rural surroundings, beautiful vistas and pleasant climate give Lake Como its enduring appeal. Menaggio, Cadenabbia, Cernobbio and Lecco are some of the magical towns where you will be staying on Lake Como.

LAKE LUCERNE
Lake Lucerne is one of Switzerland's most beautiful lakes. Old fashioned steamers crisscross the lake and soaring mountain peaks are reflected in the shimmering deep blue waters. The cultural city of Lucerne with its spires, medieval wooden bridges and historic monuments is situated on its western shore. The glacial lake's idyllic location allows you to explore the highlights of the area and the unparalleled mountain landscapes that offer magnificent panoramas. Stay at the elegant Grand Hotel Europe in Lucerne. The hotel offers traditional European hospitality enriched with contemporary comfort.
