The Champs-Elysees, one of Paris's grandest and most popular thoroughfares lined with chic hotels, stylish shops, and formal gardens, is sure to impress. Where the Champs-Elysees and eleven other avenues come together to form a star, you will find the famous 164-foot-high Arc de Triomphe, the triumphal arch commissioned by Napoleon. Marvel at the imposing 17th-century buildings of Les Invalides and its stunning Dome Church that contains the tomb of Napoleon. The church is one of the greatest examples of 17th-century French architecture. Louvre Museum and Notre-Dame
Enjoy one of the largest art collections in the world at the Louvre. This former royal palace and fortress is home to many masterpieces including the famous Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the beautiful Venus de Milo. Continue to Notre-Dame, the largest cathedral in Paris and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture with its legendary flying buttresses.

Experience two unique perspectives of Paris. Begin with a panoramic look at the city from high atop the Eiffel Tower. Ascend this legendary structure and experience the best views that Paris has to offer! Next, board a boat and float down one of the most famous and romantic rivers in the world. Magnificent Versailles

Normandy
'Rendezvous' with a very special landmark in American history, the Allied landing beaches of World War II. Travel the Seine River Valley through Normandy to Caen and Bayeux. Continue to the beaches of Point du Hoc and the cemetery of St. Laurent at Omaha Beach. Explore the visitor center at the Normandy American Cemetery where a mix of photos, films, displays and artifacts, portray the courage and sacrifice of the Allied forces.

Chateaux Country by TGV Train
Travel by high-speed train to the lovely Loire Valley. Here in the 'Garden of France' is an extraordinary collection of castles built in the 15th and 17th centuries. Visit the most romantic castle of all, the fairy-tale Chateau de Chenonceau with its splendid 200-foot gallery stretching across the Cher River. Continue to the historic Chateau d'Amboise, a favorite of the French kings. Perched on its ramparts is a Gothic chapel believed to be Leonardo da Vinci's burial place. Leonardo da Vinci spent the last years of his life in the nearby manor house of Clos Lue. It's here you'll marvel at amazing models of his inventions, his genius painstakingly brought to life.
