Today, a panorama of majesty and beauty await. Switzerland's mountains and crystalline blue lakes are unmatched in all of Europe and on this trip you will see the best of both. Travel by train on the famous Glacier Express route to areas impossible to reach by other means. Experience unspoiled forests, silent Alpine pastures, rushing streams and mountain villages rich in tradition. Arrive in St. Moritz, one of Europe's most popular resorts since the Middle Ages that still attracts celebrities from all over the world. Visit the glamorous shops, stroll beside the lake, breathe in the fresh mountain air. Return via motor coach over the spectacular Julier Pass.

City of Lucerne
Divided by the River Reuss, Lucerne is a beautiful city born in the Middle Ages and flourishing today. Its river banks on both sides are clustered with frescoed houses, ancient guildhalls, churches, hidden garden courtyards and cobbled alleys. One of the most charming sights in Lucerne are the covered bridges that span the river, decorated with medieval paintings. A stroll through Lucerne's well-preserved Old Town offers a wealth of places to visit including the glorious Baroque Jesuit Church; Chapel Bridge, Europe's oldest bridge; and the famous Lion Monument carved from a limestone cliff, which honors the memory of heroic Swiss guards.

This morning enjoy a guided walking tour of Salzburg. The rich history of this city can be seen everywhere in its lovely art, architecture and monuments. Visit the magnificent Baroque cathedral, then stroll along the world famous Getreidegasse. It's here at Getreidegasse 9 that Mozart was born. Next, it's on to a very special lunch at the Stiftskeller, Austria's oldest restaurant. It will enchant you with its stylish ambiance and the echo of hundreds of years past. ¥ As you enjoy a typical Austrian lunch you'll be serenaded by Mozart's most famous music. On this day you'll truly experience the beauty of Mozart's Salzburg.

Historical Berchtesgaden
Today you'll follow the lovely Konigsee River to Unterau, where you will begin your ascent to Obersalzberg, Hitler's mountain retreat. Ride an elevator up through the mountain to this powerful historical site for breathtaking views of some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Bavarian Alps. Continue to delightful Berchtesgaden with its beautiful historic town center of painted fa¨cades.
